Hi, I'm Liza. Porch ROCKIN' began in summertime, with me and a BLT. In a rocking chair, on the front porch of my Boylan Heights apartment.
Fall 2010, I started a homemade lunch delivery service in downtown Raleigh. I wanted to give you a different lunch experience. I made sandwiches and sides that one would eat from a front porch. I learned how to make jam and began making that yummy cashew butter. Which, makes up the famous CB&J (cashew butter and jam sandwich)!
So it is now, that we specialize in homemade jams, and tubs of cashew butter. Porch ROCKIN' is also proud of our pimento cheese and The Bomb chicken salad.
Porch ROCKIN' keeps it simple, and in that nature, southern. All our products are just meant to bring you happiness and satisfaction. We keep with the times and what's real and good, using quality ingredients. All cashews come from Trader Joes, I source produce from the Farmer's market, and whats not local, I get those jam berries from Whole Foods. Chicken for the chicken salad is hormone and antibiotic free.
And you can find all the Porch ROCKIN' products at The Saturday Market. Next season, come sample and say hello! We are located next to the chicken coop. And until then I am working hard to find our way into select stores right here in Raleigh, NC (tba soon)!
